The Medicine Buddha is the Healing Buddha, the Healer of bodies and souls among the infinite sentient beings.  The Medicine Buddha's teachings in His Sutra centers around the changing of one's mind from the mundane state of greed, anger, and delusion to the  purest of selflessness, compassion, and wisdom.  Upon attaining His Enlightenment, the Medicine Buddha made Twelve Great Vows, which form the fundamental philosophy of the guiding principles of this foundation.   

To achieve the purposes, the foundation shall use its resources to:

1. spread benevolence and charity among all sentient beings regardless of religious creed,

2. educate and enlighten all human beings to become selfless, compassionate and attain wisdom and thus elevate the morality of all sentient beings,

3. offer relief to those sentient beings who are in the greatest need such as the poor, destitute and sick, through direct donation and/or the distribution of basic need items as deemed appropriate by the foundation,

4. offer spiritual healing for those beings suffering from physical and mental ailments;

5. promote and advocate for the advancement of women who wish to attain social status and professional accomplishment equal to men, as well as,

6. promote and advocate for all oppressed struggling to be free from suffering and bondage, and to generally,

7. spread the teachings of Sakyamuni the Buddha to all people. 


The foundation shall promote the advancement of the goals of this foundation through dissemination of information, distribution of direct aid or donation, organization of educational events or other informational assemblies, sponsorship of discussion groups or seminars, all of which must be consistent with the Healing Buddha's Twelve Great Vows.  

What We Do

We are a not-for-profit charity organized to help spread the Medicine Buddha's teachings according to the Sutra, as cures for the ills and sufferings in our world.

Our activities can include:

• Advancement of morality and spiritual healing among people
